DAILY DEVOTIONAL: WE ATTRACT WHAT WE HAVE

Everything that is in our lives is because we attracted it. Our relationships, especially are an exact reflection of where we are in our lives and what we think that we deserve. I’ve spoken so much about spirits and how you cannot attract what you don’t have. Spirits that belong together will mesh. Nothing about it is forced. But what about the demons that are in us? The ones that we haven’t quite dealt with yet? Well, as Law of Attraction goes, those same negative energies not only attract each other but they feed off each other as well. The people, circumstances, and situations that are present in your life right are attracted by the things that you feel that you deserve and whatever it is that you have in you – good or bad.
Love. It is the healer of all. The most powerful tool that we possess. So natural and so pure. Nothing about love hurts or is possessive because true love doesn’t seek to control by any means. The Bible paints so many beautiful images of what love is, but my favorite verse is from 1 Corinthians 13 : “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.” Love Is Indispensable.
We cannot give what we don’t have. It’s like trying to pay for something that you simply do not have the money for. If it isn’t a part of our nature it’s harder to tap into if at all. But just because we don’t possess something whether it be love, courage, fearlessness, etc it doesn’t mean that we can’t find it or learn to possess those positive things that we desire in our lives. Learning to be daily and completed with the Spirit of God…He gives us the desire of our hearts. All we have to do is search for it. Inquire and then actively be aware and on the look out for our desires.
It is so much easier for us to get so caught up in life and completely bypass the things in life that matter most. If we want to keep growing and be filled with our desires then we have to constantly seek after it.
